PRAYER MINISTRY
The world, generally, is full of battles and the body of Christ, the Church, is not immune from
experiencing the battles. Revelation 12:12 says “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in
them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having
great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Glory be to God in Highest, for He is the Man
of war and the battle Fighter, Exodus 15:3 “The Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name.” This man
of war, the Lord of hosts, fights all battles for His Church and children. Evidently, the Church in general
and every born-again child of God have been declared victorious even before the start of any battle. The
battles are those that the Lord Jesus has won for us, as Lord declared in John 16:33 that “These things I
have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of
good cheer, I have overcome the world.” The word of God even described us, the children of God, to be
more than conquerors- Romans 8:37 “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him
who loved us.”
However, God expects us to pray unto Him continuously, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says “Pray without
ceasing;” Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful
to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints." Prayer is the tool through which
victory over battles that God has given His children being brought into reality and manifestation. 2
Corinthians 10:4-6 “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down
strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge
of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish
all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
Even though, God has power to do everything and anything without asking Him, He is still looking for
people that can stand in gap for Him, interceding on earth to bring His works and love into manifestation
among His people. Ezekiel 22:30-31 “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and
stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”
God in His infinite mercy has brought us into this ministry for His purpose as prayer warriors and
intercessors. Our inspiration has been the immense testimonies of God’s faithfulness in answered
prayers according to His promises in His words such as in Isaiah 65:24 that says “It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. “Now this is the
confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if
we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked
of Him, (1 John 5:14-15). Also, our Lord Jesus Christ assured in John 14:13-14 when He stated that “And
whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask
anything in My name, I will do it.”
We trust God and believe that whatever you bring to Him in prayer, in the name of His son, the Lord
Jesus Christ, our Savior, shall receive divine attention and turn to testimony to the glory of His Holy
name. He is God that answers by fire (1 Kings 18:24). Halleluiah, Amen!
